The ideal height for a doe is 17 - 19 inches and the maximum height ranges from 21 to 22.4 inches. The ideal height for a buck is 18 - 20 inches with a maximum height of 23-23.6 inches. An average weight for an adult animal of this type is about 75 pounds.

It is a miniature animal of West African origin. Its general appearance is similar to the animals of the larger dairy breeds. Their body is well balanced; the nose is straight; the ears upright and forward, with short to medium hair on a soft coat. Dwarf goats look excellent in the photo or in the picture.
